Breezefeather's lithe figure appeared from behind a rock. The streams were lit in the blazing afternoon sunlight. The waterfall roared, causing foamy bubbles to appear in the water. Quietly, Breezefeather began to search under and behind each rock she found. No catmint. Frustrated, she flicked her tail, turning to check if Twigpaw was behind her.
"Hey! If you find any catmint, just yell."

"Okay!" Twigpaw yowled back as he searched around the Windclan (I beleive it is WindClan)border. He opened his mother, overwhelmed by many smells going to his scent glands, non, of which released catnip.

She laughs at my dreams, Water rippled to the earth. It writhed and twirled as it pelted to the pond bellow it. The small waterfall created loud churning noises, mixing in with the trickling heard from the two streams that flowed from it. The sun shined down strongly as the heat burned to the earth. The water seemed to sparkle as the light fell on it. The stepping stones in the pond, which couldn't be used do to the length between them and the shore, shined as well with the water splashing on them. An orange tabby pelt lay, unmoving, except for the faintest rise and fall of the chest, near the small waterfall. The cat had been laying there for a while now, just thinking, until he heard voices. "Hey! If you find any catmint, just yell." "Okay!" His eyelids flashed open, reviling dark green eyes. He rolled over and stood up, flexing his muscles. Falconclaw looked around, feeling social now that he knew he wasn't alone. The tom padded towards the voices, and noticed a pretty, white she-cat with other colored patches and a brown tabby tom. He recognized the she-cat as the RiverClan medicine cat soon enough, because he had seen her at gatherings. He couldn't remember her name, though... "Yo! What're you two looking for?" He called, grinning.
But I dream about her laughter

The voice was strong and confident. It came to Breezefeather's ears as quickly as it had been said, for she saw the orange tabby standing up and walking towards her. Fear crept up her back, only slightly. This was a WindClan warrior, she could scent, and though there was no fued going on in the Clans, it still uneased her to be speaking to another Clan's warrior. "Er... hello," she called to the warrior, recognizing the broad muscles. It was Falconclaw.
"My apprentice - Twigpaw - and I are gathering herbs... Well, a certain herb," Breezefeather said, flustered. Nervously, she shuffled her paws. It was odd - she was never this tongue-tied with her Clan-mates, yet when she spoke to other Clans, she was nervous. Scolding herself, Breezefeather padded towards Falconclaw. When she was close enough to see his dark green eyes fully, she stopped. "Have you seen any catmint?" she asked quickly. "Well, I doubt you'd know what it looked like. Let me rephrase that: have you scented any catmint? You can kind of recognize it - it smells appetizing."

She laughs at my dreams, "Catmint, eh? Mm, I've scented it before. I think it was around here... or... maybe it wasn't." He shifted his weight a bit. "Why? Greencough isn't plaguing RiverClan is it?" His voice held a flake of worry, but he covered it quickly. His ear twitched. "Did you check the outside the broken barn? Wait, no. I wouldn't do that. It's pretty dangerous around there for a she-cat and her apprentice." He raised an eyebrow and smiled. He wasn't calling them weak. (No muse at all. O', dear Muse, where art thou?)
But I dream about her laughter

Breezefeather's tail flicked in slight annoyance. No, she hadn't wanted to be a warrior, but she wasn't weak. Ever still, she was grateful he revealed a possible location of catmint. Keeping her voice calm and steady, Breezefeather said cooly, "RiverClan is doing just fine. We're prospering now - I'm only looking for catmint because I can never be unprepared." She smiled a fake smile, and shifted her weight between paws.
Glancing back to Twigpaw, she wondered if her apprentice had found any catmint. No, that wasn't what she was wondering. She was fooling herself - what she was wondering was, if Falconclaw had meant the concern in his voice when he asked if RiverClan was alright. It was slight, no more than a flicker of worry, but it was there. Breezefeather had a way of knowing it was there. She always did.
"Um, Falconclaw?" she said suddenly, turning her dark gold eyes to the warrior. She had wanted to say something, but she couldn't find the words. Finally, she did. "Why are you worried for RiverClan?" The words flew smoothly out of her mouth, pealing in the air like the chirps of birds. It seemed like it deafened the waterfall. Perhaps it did. It wasn't an important question. But it was a question that deserved an honest answer. Breezefeather looked expentantly at Falconclaw.

(Sorry I was doing...stuff.)
Twigpaw looked up from where he looked for catmint but he saw a WindClan (I beleive) cat "harrassing" his mentor. She jumped to his paws and dashed over. He slid to stop standing infront of his mentor. "Get away, Creep!" He hissed.

Falconclaw snorted. "Well..." He started, choosing his words, "If your clan is weak, we might go into a battle that wouldn't be good. And... if there are more cute cats like you, it'd be bad to fight." He knew he was flirting with a medicine cat, but hey, it wouldn't turn into anything, right? He laughed slightly as the apprentice verbally defended Breezefeather. "Creep? Oh, you're too kind."

A slight flush ran through Breezefeather's body at Falconclaw's words. Didn't he know her vow? She had vowed for no mates, no kits. Yet he was flirting. The thought was... inconceivable.
"Falconclaw, you know of my vow," she said steadily, her voice threatening to break from nervousness. No cat had called her that before. Maybe they never thought of it, for she was a medicine cat. "I am not to have a mate," she continued, shuffling her paws. "Or kits." But maybe he was just being polite and --
"Get away, creep!"
Breezefeather jumped in fright as her apprentice defended her. A smile was on her lips quickly. "No, no," she said to Twigpaw, laughing. "It's okay. He's not a creep. We're just talking." Maybe he doesn't know about the vow. Best not let Twigpaw know about it, anyways.

Twigpaw glared at the strange cat but nodded at his mentor and sat next to her.
