"Oh. They're finally here." Silentnight sighed. She despised listening to a clan's probelms. Not that Windclan wasn't having probelms. Luna was missing and she missed her, but something told her that her daughter woud return eventually. The medicine cat took a seat in front of Greatrock.
"Looks whose arrived." Evileye paced over to Greatrock. He was eager to hear of what is happening within the clans. The blue tom took his seat in front of Greatrock, but not too close. He also sat in the area where Riverclan cats sat. If a fight broke out he didn't want to be beside enemies. After all, what had made Shadowclan so late?

Requiemstar dipped his head to Loststar. "No no, it's not fair for ShadowClan to be late then speak first. You may go first if you wish." Turning to the others, he tried smile, but failed. The times had not been very happy for ShadowClan lately, and there had so far been nothing to smile about. A grim look overshadowed Requiemstar's handsome features, and the sparkle in his eyes had all but been lost.

Patchedpaw quickly got bored and no matter how hard he tried to pay attention he was only a newly named apprentice he couldnt help it if he got distracted easily. His gaze turned to vinepaws tail which was flickering ever so tauntingly back and forth. He felt the need to catch it in his paws no must resist he thought to himself but he couldnt. He was just about to catch it when it flickered away he followed it unawar of how close he was standing to vinepaw now. He was about to grab it when he brushed against vinepaws shoulder and he remembered he was in the middle of a gathering. He quickly sat down and tried to look as dignified as ever.

Vinepaw flinched when she realized that Patchedpaw had brushed into her shoulder. She flicked her tail at him then turns towards the gathering.

Bowing to Loststar and the other leaders before stepping forward, Requiemstar felt his heart lodge itself in his throat as he prepared himself to divulge ShadowClan's horrible news. "Thank you Loststar. First and foremost, I would like to formally apologize to all clans and their leaders for ShadowClan attending the gathering late. We have unfortunate news, and it is because of this news we were late to the gathering." Taking a deep breath, the faded gray tom let his gaze wander out over the cats of all clans below. He narrowed his eyes. Surely none of them were jumping to conclusions and thinking ShadowClan was weak already? Clearing his throat, he began. "About two or three days ago, one of ShadowClan's kits, Spark-kit, was kidnapped by a rogue near the river. An apprentice, Dustpaw, was with her and fought bravely to save her, but unfortunately it wasn't enough, for this rogue had the build and strength of a warrior." Pausing, Requiemstar glanced over at Dustpaw, too heartsick to continue. "We followed the scent further down the river, but we lost it when the rain pour down in torrents. It seems as though fate was against us that day, for we returned to camp, wet and cold and miserable. We received word from Frostpool that Spark-kit's mother, Darlingpaw, had suffered a heart attack from the shock of losing her daughter. We sat vigil for her during sunset, seeing as how the gathering was taking place tonight." Absent-mindedly the tom had begun lashing his tail from side to side when he began the story. Now it had slowed down to a soft whisking across the oak that he and the other leaders stood on. "So I am asking all of you now," he broke off to gaze at each and every cat, including the leaders next to him. He began again, in a stronger, more commanding voice."...If any of you have any knowledge as to the whereabouts of our missing Spark-kit, please speak-up." Requiemstar seemed tired and old, though he was still the young age of 36 moons. In his transparent blue eyes was a pleading look, and instead of a leader, he seemed to be more of a brother who lost his sister that had searched everywhere to find her, yet couldn't.

Whisperstar's blood ran cold. Horror made her eyes wide for a heartbeat, before she spoke up. "Dustpaw must be a very courageous apprentice, to try and thwart an attack. He will make a fine warrior one moon. Did he note any features of the cat...perhaps a heavily-scarred tail?" She prayed to StarClan that she was wrong. But, a trained warrior stealing a kit...it was exactly the type of thing he'd do. The tabby leader glanced down at the assembled cats, as if making sure he was not among them.

Dustpaw gazed up, staring into the WindClan leader's eyes. He hadn't exactly described the rogue well, and he vexed his own mind as he tried to remember the exact looks of the tom. "Yes.," He called, hatred for the rogue burning in his eyes, "His tail was torn and wounded."
Ebonyear twitched her tail slowly as she listened. A ShadowClan kit stolen? It wasn't possible! Her amber orbs flew to the apprentice as he called out to the leaders.

Requiemstar's transparent blue orbs narrowed as they shifted from Dustpaw to stare at Whisperstar intently, as if trying to read her mind. "Are you implying you know something about this, Whisperstar?" he queried, trying not to let his tone get too suspicious.
Auburnsky's brilliant green eyes widened in horror as the ShadowClan leader announced his news. A kit stolen? "That's horrible!" she murmured aloud, joining in with the other cats who had begun to talk amongst themselves about this latest piece of news. Her eyes swiveled to the small apprentice who called out, then to her leader. Whisperstar couldn't know anything about this! Could she?

The WindClan leader bristled her pelt at the accusations. "The same rouge has stolen WindClan prey," she dissmissed. "He was once one of our own warriors and my own littermate, but he has been driven out for several moons." She did not admit that, recently, the two had talked. Nor that she was raising his son in her Clan. "WindClan cannot be held responsible for a rouge's actions." She shot Requiemstar a glance, as well as Dustpaw.

Loststar was suprised at the anunciation that the rogue was leader to a fine leader like her. He shook his fur then glanced about again.

Silentnight looked to Whisperstar. Hopefully, she won't say too much and now isn't the best time to mention Mellowpaw's apprenticeship. I knew he was nothing but trouble. Look at what his father has done. The medicine cat was scowling bitterly now.
"A kit stolen?" Evileye exclaimed in shock. His eyes were wide, but the bad eye was drifting off in another direction.
